Winemaking Facility
The state-of-the-art winery at Wheeler Farms is home to several small, high-quality brands, including our signature wine, J. H. Wheeler. The facility is a winemaker’s dream brought to life, featuring the latest technology in winemaking to maximize efficiencies and minimize compromises.
The two-story winery houses a technologically advanced system of computerized and self-contained stainless steel tanks, as well as a crush pad featuring an optical sorter, destemmer and custom-built receiving hopper on the ground level.

Inside the winery, the winemakers can choose as little or as much intervention as they'd like to manage fermentation. They can monitor and control temperatures and pumpovers with precision and ease, freeing up valuable time and resources that can otherwise be dedicated to winemaking decisions.

Underground, the wines are aged in the barrel cellars, providing a humidity and temperature controlled environment with ideal wine-ageing conditions.
